Shortly after we launched the new website on August 1st, our web host provider's data center in Florida, Hostdime, suffered a major power outage affecting hundreds of servers and many thousands of websites -including us on August 3rd. The unplanned downtime led to our site being offline for almost a day.
Following the event, on August 4th, our web host provider did a major server upgrade to give us much larger (and faster) hard drives. The upgrade inadvertently affected our site with multiple glitches including momentary server downtime, internal server errors, and some web pages malfunctioning. We managed to fix most of the glitches but there remains a few others which require their technicians to re-configure and repair for us.
By August 5th, most of our web pages were working fine except for our news page. Apparently, the server upgrade had somehow corrupted this particular data and their system will not allow us to override it with a clean deletion and re-installation. Consequently, our news page and news feed were offline for 2 days. Since the technician is obviously taking their time to fix the bug issue, we decide to temporarily transport our files to another database. This route works for us as our site is finally running smoothly once again.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Our entire site is presently working in order. Our news feeds and news page are also back online now. We are back in business!
