INTERAC EMAIL MONEY TRANSFERS (Available with Canadian Banks only)

Interac Email Money Transfers are a simple, convenient, and secure way to send money to our email address — without sharing any personal or financial information. The provider of this service is CertaPay, a division of Acxsys Corporation. It is a great alternative to credit cards, checks and cash. If you still do not have access to online banking, contact your financial institution or visit their online banking web site to sign up.

Participating financial institutions: BMO Bank of Montreal, CIBC, RBC Royal Bank, Scotiabank, TD Canada Trust, and selected credit union. See the Interac web site for the most up-to-date list of participating financial institutions.

If you do not bank at any participating financial institution, you may pay with hyperWALLET, credit card, PayPal, check or money order.

PAY BY EMAIL MONEY TRANSFER:

All you need is access to online banking at participating financial institution and our email address.

  1. Sign-in to your online banking account at your bank's website.
  2. Navigate to Transfer/Payment menu options and select "Interac Email Money Transfer" to send money.
  3. Type "Essie" in the recipient's name and "" in the recipient's email address.
  4. Specify the amount for the payment.
  5. Type "accurate email reading" in the security question and "soul123" in the answer.
    See example below:
  6. Make sure you spell check everything. We will not be able to complete the transaction otherwise. Submit the money transfer request and an e-mail notification will then be sent to us to collect the funds.
  7. Log out of your banking website.
  8. Finally, submit an Order Form at our website to complete your order request.
  9. You're done!

Despite the name "Interac Email Money Transfer", no money is sent through e-mail. E-mail is only used to notify us that a transfer has been initiated, while the participating financial institutions transfer the funds using established and secure banking procedures. This is a secure transaction and we do not receive any information about you, your bank accounts, balances, or banking transactions.
